Ben White and Viktor Gyokeres had given Mikel Arteta's side a 2-0 lead before Alejandro Garnacho halved the deficit. Martin Zubimendi had then made it 3-1 to Arsenal in the 71st minute before Garnacho struck again with seven minutes remaining to give Chelsea a fighting chance in this second leg.
